Unlocking some of the weapons you want in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone requires you to access the Armory. Here’s how.
There are a lot of weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Many you’ll unlock via leveling up in their respective games, but others have a message in the Loadouts menu: Unlocked in Armor. What that means is simple, but only if you know where to look, which is less so.
What does “Unlocked in Armory” mean in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone?

Unlocked in Armory means the weapon was a battle pass unlock in a previous season. Rather than make pass weapons unavailable, they’re now locked in the Armory, which means, in practice, that you’ll need to grind for them. All of them. A lot.
How to unlock “Unlocked in Armory” weapons
To unlock Armory gear, you need to first go to the Armory menu. To reach it, do the following:
- Select Barracks from the main menu.
- Select Challenges
- Select Armory

Once you’re in the Armory menu, use the sidebar to choose what category of item you want to unlock, then select the item you want. Doing so makes it, and it alone, your current Armory unlock. You’ll see the XP value you need below the item icon. After that, it’s a simple matter of earning the XP you need.

The catch? Armory unlocks require between 100,000 and 250,000 XP, depending on the item you want. This value is affected by Double XP events and tokens, but you still shouldn’t expect it to be fast. Focus purely on the weapon or item you want, as XP gained is not shared with any other piece of Armory gear.
