How to get the Multitool – Killing Floor 3

The Multitool is a very useful item in Killing Floor 3, allowing you to take advantage of various map features as you battle your way through waves of enemies. If you are not sure where to get one, this is how to add it to your arsenal, either before or during a game.

If you have yet to load in, you can select the Multitool as one of your starting items. The default item in this slot will be the ammo bag, so click on it, then select the Multiool from the available options. If you have already loaded in, you will need to wait for the buy options between rounds, and you can replace the ammo bag with it then.

The multitool will have three charges per wave, and you can refill those charges at the buy station between waves. Each charge allows you to interact with one map feature, like an armor box, zipline, or turret. Turrets will fire for a limited time, and then go on cooldown. You can return and fire the turret up again after the cooldown has expired.
