In MISERY, when nuclear war erupts, you have mere seconds to reach your bunker, then the real challenge begins. Daily expeditions into the Zone reveal procedurally-generated military bases, research stations, and ruined cities teeming with threats. You’ll face down desperate survivors, mutated creatures with unpredictable behaviors, and reality-bending anomalies that conceal valuable artifacts.
Your bunker becomes a sanctuary to expand and fortify. Install generators, build crafting stations, grow food, and scavenge furnishings from the dead. Between raids you can unwind at the institute’s basement bar to trade with survivors.
