Tidebully Goblins and Splash Coins | Throne & Liberty: Summer Splash 2025 Event Guide
Now, let’s kick things off by talking about the Tidebully Goblins, which are the main focus of the Summer Splash event this year. These Tidebully Goblins will spawn in various areas in-game at specific times. They’ll primarily appear along shores and beaches, but they can seemingly spawn all over Solisium. Nonetheless, here are their spawn times in UTC:
- 01:30
- 12:30
- 17:30
- 21:30 (Saturday and Sunday only)
If you’re in-game during one of these times, you’ll get a notification in the top-center of the screen. It will tell you that the Tidebully Goblins have appeared all across Solisium. It’s time to start hunting!
You and other players will need to explore Solisium, particularly its beaches, and kill the Tidebully Goblins. Any player who contributes to a kill will get rewards from these goblins, primarily via the Tidebully Lucky Box chests. It gives many rewards, such as Tier 2 equipment and resources. More importantly, every chest gives you 1 Splash Coin as a guaranteed drop. We’ll explain those in more detail later.
Aside from the regular Tidebully Goblins, Big Tidebully Goblins will also spawn. Their locations aren’t set, however, so you’ll need to rely on the in-game chat to find them. Players will generally pin their locations to the World Chat once spotted.
Similar to the regular variants, Big Tidebully Goblins will drop rewards to any players who contribute towards killing them. They are much more resilient as they’re minibosses, too. This makes it easier to contribute and get rewards! For your reward, you’ll get a Tidebully Treasure Chest, which has better drops than the Lucky Box. Most importantly, it gives 3 Splash Coins as a guarantee.
So, What are Splash Coins For?
As we’ve mentioned before, Splash Coins are the main reward you get from hunting the Tidebully Goblins. To use them, you’ll need to talk to either of the Splash Coin Exchange Merchants in Solisium. You can find one in Herba Village and another in Vienta Village. They share stock, as is usually the case with event merchants. Here’s their stock for reference:

With these prices, it’d take forever to get enough Splash Coins from just killing Tidebully Goblins! Thankfully, there are other ways to get Splash Coins, as well.
How to Get Extra Splash Coins
The first way to get some extra Splash Coins without Tidebully Goblins in Throne & Liberty is to simply do your daily Check-Ins. You’ll get chests with Splash Coins that way, just by logging into the game while the event is active.
The second way is to participate in the current Arena event. You can find it by clicking on the Special Events icon in your main menu.
While the Summer Splash 2025 event is on, you can participate in a special 6v6 Amitoi Arena battle. Winning in this special Arena will allow you to get a lot of Splash Coins, as follows:
- Win 1 Time – 60 Splash Coins
- Win 3 Times – 175 Splash Coins
- Win 5 Times – 350 Splash Coins
To make things even better, these rewards are weekly. That means you can get a total of 585 Splash Coins just from winning 5 Arena matches a week. Quite a nice haul, right?
However, it’s currently unknown if these weekly objectives will be changed to different ones. The event’s official news post had objectives for just participating in the Event Arena, for example, which aren’t currently in-game. Nonetheless, check the Special Events page in-game for your current objectives.
