Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Map Leaks, But It Won’t Be There On Release

The hype for Battlefield 6 continues to grow and data miners have been hard-at-work sharing leaked information to keep the community buzzing. One data miner in particular has been giving gamers a glimpse of everything from vehicles, to destructible environments, weapons, and gadgets, and now an entire battle royale map.

Battlefield 6 May Be Trying To Be A Battle Royale Again

Battlefield Labs has allegedly added files and materials hinting at the addition of a battle royale mode.

While this information is unofficial and isn’t guaranteed to make it into the game, data miner Temporyal has dug up every point of interest in the battle royale mode and used it to make a mock-up of the map, which is reportedly named “Lyndon Beach”.

The B6 reveal trailer shows global conflict warfare revolving around NATO and a private military corporation called Pax Armata, giving gamers an intense video game war experience and a jarring reminder of the world’s current political climate.

The upcoming game is rumored to have a battle royale mode that could potentially launch shortly after the game’s release, and Temporyal has created this map using nine main points of interest and 29 smaller points of interest that were found through data mining.

Rumors from the gaming community are pointing to the release of B6’s battle royale mode shortly after launch, and there’s a good chance it won’t cost you a dime.

“I’ve heard from two sources now that Battlefield 6 Battle Royale will not only be free to play but won’t come out till months after the base game. Obviously, a lot can change between now and then.”

EA has been hosting Battlefield Labs playtests for the new game and will be holding a multiplayer reveal event on Thursday, July 31, at 11:30 AM PDT / 14:30 PM EDT.

This epic showcase will lift the curtain on Battlefield 6’s much-anticipated multiplayer features and demonstrate why this is the most ambitious title in the series’ history, with an explosive showcase of some of the jaw-dropping maps players will battle across, the suite of modes both new and returning, and much, much more.
