Sony announced the PlayStation Plus August 2025 games for people who subscribe to any level of the possible plans, and one of them is the Pinocchio-inspired Soulslike Lies of P. The PS4 and PS5 game will lead the charge of three new titles starting on August 5, 2025. While DayZ and My Hero One’s Justice 2 are PS4 games, they’re also playable on the PS5.
Lies of P is the most recent of the three games, as it came out in September 2023. It follows Pinocchio seeking Mr. Geppetto in Krat. However, the opponents he fights aren’t all that different from him, as they’re puppets who aren’t human. This only covers the base game and not existing expansion. It’s normally $59.99.
DayZ is the oldest one. It involves up to 60 people surviving zombies and dealing with permadeath on one or two maps. Since it is from May 2019 though, it doesn’t exactly have the audience it once did. It normally costs $54.99.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 comes ahead of My Hero Academia: Alls Justice. Which is handy, since a save file from this will unlock the player title “One’s Justice 2” in the new entry. It’s an arena fighter based on the anime and manga. That came out in March 2020, and it’s normally $39.99 on the PlayStation Store.
In the meantime, there are still three games to claim until August 4, 2025. Diablo IV (PS4, PS5), KOF XV (PS4, PS5), and Jusant (PS5) can still be claimed. You keep access to them after that date if you remain subscribed.
Lies of P (PS4, PS5), DayZ (PS4), and My Hero One’s Justice 2 (PS4) will join the PlayStation Plus games lineup on August 5, 2025.
