Furyu announced it is possible to pre-order the Varlet standard edition, and it also confirmed the Digital Deluxe Edition DLC contents ahead of its August 28, 2025 release date. Those who go with the $79.99 version instead of the $59.99 one will get costumes based on past games like The Caligula Effect 2 and Monark.
There are no pre-order DLC bonuses or discounts mentioned for the standard copy. However, the Digital Deluxe Edition of Varlet comes with three bonuses. Two are the types of items you expect. There’s an 80-page digital art book. We also get the full 53-song digital soundtrack. 13 of those will feature vocals. As for the DLC, there are two extra costumes for the hero. Our avatar won’t get to look like any specific characters from The Caligula Effect or Monark though. Instead, it will just be the school uniforms from each of those games.
In case you missed what to expect from Varlet, here’s a peek at the previous trailer highlighting elements of the JRPG:
Varlet will come to the Switch, PS5, and PC on August 28, 2025, and pre-orders for the standard version of the JRPG are live as of July 31, 2025.
