Sanrio TMNT McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys Teased

McDonald’s announced on social media that the Sanrio TMNT Happy Meal toys, which turn mascots like Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Badtz Maru into characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, will appear in the US. Previously, it appeared in Asia and Europe. They will start to launch in restaurants on August 12, 2025.

Since these are part of an existing McDonald’s Happy Meal toy crossover, we know all of the characters in the Sanrio TMNT mashup. There are five variants of Hello Kitty, two of Kuromi, two of My Melody, two of Cinnamoroll, and one of Badtz Maru. They are organized as such that there is one team of the characters with their white fur color, but the rest are green like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be. There is one full set of Hello Kitty toys as the heroes, while the others include a collection of four that include her and another that features others in the line.

This follows a 2024 Hello Kitty crossover at the restaurant that involved Yu-Gi-Oh.

The Sanrio TMNT Happy Meal toys of characters in crossover costumes will be at McDonald’s in the US starting on August 12, 2025.
