SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide announced for November

The studio behind SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated and The Cosmic Shake are getting another crack at the franchise, and it’s coming later this year. SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is a new action platforming game that will let players switch between the iconic protagonist and his best friend, Patrick.

Publisher THQ Nordic revealed SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide during the company’s digital showcase. The story finds King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman in a heated battle, one that leads to chaos in Bikini Bottom.

The trailer shows off several of the game’s levels, platforming sequences, and puzzles. Players will be able to seamlessly switch between SpongeBob and Patrick, and both characters have unique abilities that can be used to accomplish tasks.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide launches on November 18, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.
